I understand that technology has advanced our society, but it’s kinda disappointing how it has influenced us to degrade our standards. For example, at times when I’m reading someone’s messages or comments to me, I feel like I have to put all my brain power 1NT0 D3C1PH3R1NG WuT 533M5 LiEK 4 C0D3D M3554G3 from a couple of inbred children who think it’s cute to mix in numbers where they don’t belong. Keep numbers in math please. As for conversations, it sucks how people rely heavily on texting. Texting is a wonderful thing, I have to admit. I can talk to my friends during a really boring class, I can receive good morning texts from wonderful people, and all that good stuff. However, textspeak is just as bad as 1337SP34K and it frustrates me incredibly. What happened to late night phone calls? What happened to chillin’ face to face? Although old school ways may seem primal, I think they mean a lot more compared to the communication traditions we have today.
